On November 16-17, the 2025 Innovation Conference of Wanma Macromolecule, under the theme "Embracing Challenges Through Innovation·Planning For The Future With Integrated Development", was successfully held by the Fuchun River. Mr. Mao Qingchuan, Chief Technical Expert from the SECRI, was invited to attend and provide guidance. The conference was attended by Mr. Huang Shengqiang, General Manager of Wanma Macromolecule, along with over 100 members of the company's management and technical backbone staff. Together, they commemorated this milestone in the company's innovative development and jointly charted a new blueprint for the future.
On the first day of the conference, the company invited Mr. Jiang Xiaohua to conduct a specialized training session titled "Maintaining Integrity while Embracing Innovation: The Innovative Thinking and Methodology for Managers". The session aimed to help managers break through mental constraints and enhance their capabilities for change and innovation. Integrating international management concepts with practical case studies from Chinese enterprises, the training was delivered through diverse formats, including expert lectures, case discussions, and hands-on exercises. Mr. Jiang focused on the corporate life cycle and strategies for achieving second-curve growth. He deconstructed the essence of innovation and methods to break free from rigid thinking patterns, while also imparting seven practical innovation tools, such as Cross-Over Thinking and First Principles Thinking. The entire training content was systematic, targeted, and highly practical, providing participants with a solid theoretical foundation for understanding the principles of innovation and mastering applicable methodologies.
Simultaneously on the first day of the conference, the seventh "Lean Huangpu Training Program", a cradle for cultivating the company's manufacturing elite, conducted its achievements sharing session. Improvement teams from the production line presented their innovative practices: By deeply integrating lean concepts into their daily work and flexibly applying various innovation tools, they successfully overcame numerous practical challenges. These achievements fully demonstrated the strong improvement capabilities and vibrant innovative energy of our frontline staff, serving as a powerful embodiment of Wanma Macromolecule's lean culture of "Total Participation, Continuous Improvement".
The second day's agenda commenced with a presentation by Ms. Li Xiujuan, Head of the Technology Management Department. In her review of the innovation journey, she highlighted the steady progression of Wanma Macromolecule's innovation initiatives: The first conference focused on introducing innovation concepts and building consensus, the second edition emphasized the implementation of innovative practices and improving team capabilities, while this year's conference is dedicated to the comprehensive expansion and deepening of the innovation system. Her presentation provided a thorough overview of the systematic development path of the company's innovation efforts, signifying that these initiatives are steadily moving towards greater structuring and routinization. This progress lays a solid foundation for the company to continuously activate the innovation momentum of all employees and deepen the innovation ecosystem.
Following this, 20 project leaders from the R&D Center, Manufacturing Center, Supply Chain Center, Marketing Center, and Financial Management Department took the stage sequentially. They presented their teams' innovation projects, which were centered around four key dimensions: Product, Quality, Customer, and Business Model. Each presenter began with the project's background and objectives, then provided a detailed elaboration of the solution, key technology applications, and implementation processes. By citing actual data, they clearly demonstrated the specific value of the project in terms of efficiency improvement, cost optimization, customer satisfaction improvement, or management efficiency upgrade.
Following a rigorous evaluation by a panel of expert judges and the on-site audience, a total of 20 outstanding projects, 12 "Technology Stars", and 1 "Annual Innovation Figure" stood out. Amid enthusiastic applause, the company's leaders presented the honorees with certificates of recognition. Their achievements served as a profound inspiration to all colleagues present, further igniting the collective passion and resolve to engage in innovation across the entire organization.
Mr. Mao Qingchuan, Chief Technical Expert from the SECRI, delivered a speech for the conference and highly affirmed Wanma Macromolecule's industry value and developmental achievements, summarizing his praise into "Three Points of Appreciation". First, he appreciated Wanma Macromolecule, as a leading enterprise in the material sector, for injecting robust momentum into the high-quality development of China's cable industry through its solid technological innovation. He then systematically reviewed the complete process of the company's innovation from scattered breakthroughs to systematic development. He particularly highlighted that in 2025, the company has successfully established an innovation system covering the entire value chain. This system has effectively facilitated the coordinated advancement of multiple project types and achieved the continuous optimization of the benefit structure. Looking ahead, Mr. Liu proposed four core development methods: Firstly, adhere to a dual-driver strategy of market and technology, using market demands to guide the direction of innovation. The second is to promote a gradient innovation approach that combines gradual progress, breakthroughs, and exploration, balancing immediate results with long-term layout. The third is to strengthen collaboration across the upstream and downstream supply chain and actively promote cross-boundary learning to continuously broaden innovation perspectives and resource boundaries. The fourth is to solidify the data foundation, systematically improve incentive guarantees and fault-tolerance mechanisms to safeguard innovative practices. In conclusion, Mr. Liu emphasized that only by deeply integrating unwavering passion for innovation with scientific implementation methods can the company continue to cultivate deep expertise within the traditional industry and achieve sustained, steady progress.
In the concluding speech at this Innovation Conference, Mr. Huang Shengqiang, General Manager of the company, first expressed his high regard for the highly successful organization of the event.
